The Young Designers Award is an architectural competition run yearly, in association with RIBA (IW). It provokes conversations about architecture and design by getting young people on the Island to respond creatively to a set brief based around a local landmark.

It is free to enter and open to anyone between the ages of five and eighteen and seeks to inspire young people and their parents to consider the built environment around them. Many schools on the Island get involved with the competition on a yearly basis, but we also welcome entries from any young, creative individuals.

We are currently seeking a sponsor for the competition, ideally being a long-term sponsorship from a company or organisation that wishes to align themselves with supporting the next generation of creative thinkers. If you may be interested in sponsoring the Young Designers Award please get in contact with us.
